Penguin Jug by Jochen Holz
The range of glassware uses so called ‘incalmo’, an Italian technique in which different coloured pieces of glass are heated up and fused together. These colourful jugs are all made from durable pyrex glass, which makes them heat and scratch resistant and suitable to put in the dishwasher or oven.
Every piece is unique, individually considered and finished.
Dimensions: 18 - 20 cm approximately
Jochen Holz is a London-based glass maker. Specialised in lampworking technique, Holz transforms the prefabricated glass tubes into one-off glassware, bespoke objects, jewellery, and neon pieces. By letting the process of the making play a central role in his practice, a high level of spontaneous decisions and intuition are present in his design.
All proceeds from products sold go towards supporting our After School Club educational programme for state school students.
*The photos are just references to show the colour combination. Actual piece might look slightly different in the colour or shape.
